Kentucky Black Pride is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization: 82-4176691. Established in December 2016, under the leadership of Shawn Ka'Ron Bumpase. Our mission is to promote unity, pride, self-awareness and positive visibility within Kentucky's QTPOC community. Our goal is to improve the lives of QTPOC around central Kentucky serving Lexington (surrounding counties), Frankfort, Louisville and Covington. We are proud to provide you with a annual pride festival in Lexington every 3rd weekend of September.

Women Health Summit 2025

Join us for our 9th Annual Women Health Summit. The Women Health Summit is a vital platform for exchanging recent achievements and discussing current health issues within the community of women of color. T.J Gibson, from Detroit, Michigan, a Community Engagement Specialist from ViiV Healthcare will be our guest speaker.
Satur​day, February 08, 2025, from 10:00 AM - 3:30 PM, at the Black & Williams Cultural Center 498 Georgetown Street, Lexington, Kentucky 40508.

Health Fair will be from 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM: Vendors that will be included will be AVOL Kentucky, Bluegrass Pace Care, UK Target 4 KIRP, Lexington Health Department, UK Ovarian Screening, Kentucky Cancer Link, Planned Parenthood, Humana Healthcare, ViiV Healthcare, Color of Promises & More.

Monthly Board Meeting
